Love God. Love People. Love the City.

This is the mission and vision of MCC, but love can be an over-used and confusing word in our day and age. What does it look like for a community of Jesus to function in love? What does that even mean? What does it take for us to become people of love for the world around us?

Join us in person or online this week as Jim preaches about slowing our lives down to a pace that is compatible with love.

January 22 • Fit for the Task

Many people get caught up in the do's and don'ts of religion. But at its heart, Christianity is a relationship. But how do we enter into a relationship with a God we can't see, or audibly hear? Many folks make big lists and ideas about how to love God, which at their heart are good, but maybe we have over-complicated things.

Join us in person or online as Jim preaches out of Luke 5:12-17 and we continue through our Vision Series of Love God. Love People. Love the City.

January 29 • Love is the Mission

Jesus is God, but he was also deeply human. In fact Jesus teaches us how to be truly human, as we were created to be. How then do we become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did, without getting sucked into perfectionism and rules? What does it really mean when Jesus restores our humanity?
